Peacock Ore exudes a delightful and carefree energy, infusing our spiritual practices with more joy. It serves as a gentle reminder not to take ourselves or our spiritual journey too seriously, encouraging us to embrace laughter and dance as expressions of Divine desire. This remarkable gem acts as a protective shield against negativity, guiding us towards people and activities that foster personal growth and awakening.
Linked to the compassionate goddess Kwan Yin, Peacock Ore can be utilized to invoke her aid. During meditation, this stone deepens our connection with both the earth below and the boundless realms of spirit, creating a profound sense of unity. By helping us remain present in the moment, Peacock Ore enables us to find inner peace regardless of external circumstances, embracing tranquility wherever we may be.
Why do I work with copper?
I work with copper because it is known as a lucky and healing metal. Copper conducts spiritual energy back and forth between individuals, crystals, auras, the mind and the spirit world.
Copper is known to have its own healing properties so when combined with a stone/crystal your actually gaining something from both materials.
Please handle with care as you would all fine jewelry** Do not submerge in water, remove before swimming or bathing. Keep away from oils and lotion*
Will my finger turn green?
Maybe. This is a natural reaction to copper. It’s do to the natural acidity in ones skin. Every person is different. And every day your skin can produce more or less then other days.
But!......
I ONLY use jewelry grade copper from reputable sellers. There are no “surprise” metals mixed in the copper I use. I seal all areas of copper that come into contact with skin with a jeweler grade sealant. However this does wear off over time. They can be resealed with clear nail polish or wax as needed.
Does copper tarnish? Yes. This happens to all metals over time. This is caused by the environment in which we live. The chemicals and minerals we come in contact with daily. From soap, lotion, oils, hair products and even tap water.
Soooo yes, copper may tarnish over time but it can easily be removed with a jewelry polishing cloth or even steel wool (only to the copper, not the stone).
